PUF Roof Sandwich Panels Panels

The workhorse of Indian industrial roofing. PUF roof panels deliver reliable thermal insulation with a profiled steel exterior, at a price point that makes large-scale roofing projects viable. Manufactured on a continuous press line at Derabassi with the same quality control as our premium PIR range. For standard industrial, commercial, and warehouse roofing where enhanced fire ratings are not required, PUF is the specification that balances performance with budget.

The Short Version

When PUF Roofing is the Right Call

Most industrial and commercial roofs in India do not require enhanced fire ratings. They need solid thermal insulation, reliable weatherproofing, and a price per square metre that does not blow out the project budget. PUF roof panels deliver all three. The profiled exterior handles water drainage and structural stiffness. The polyurethane core provides proven thermal performance. And the cost per square metre runs 10 to 15 percent less than PIR for the same panel dimensions. For warehouses, factories, logistics facilities, and standard commercial buildings, PUF roofing is the practical specification. If your insurer or fire engineer requires enhanced fire performance, we will recommend PIR. Otherwise, PUF gets the job done.

Before You Order

Specification Checklist

Most specification mistakes happen early. Wrong thickness for the temperature delta. Wrong fire class for the occupancy type. Wrong coating grade for the site conditions. Use this checklist before you freeze your bill of quantities.

Questions

Before You Specify

The questions our engineering team gets asked most by architects, procurement teams, and cold storage contractors.

What thickness of PUF roof panel do I need?

For standard industrial and commercial roofing, 40 to 60mm is typical. For temperature-controlled environments, 60 to 80mm. For cold storage roofs above minus 20°C, 80 to 120mm. For deep-freeze roofs, we recommend switching to PIR. Our team calculates the exact thickness for your location and target U-value.

PUF roofing delivers the same weatherproofing and structural performance as PIR at a lower cost. Where PIR wins is thermal efficiency (slightly thinner panels for the same U-value) and fire performance. For standard industrial and commercial roofs without enhanced fire requirements, PUF is the practical and cost-effective choice.

Upgrade to PIR roofing when your building requires enhanced fire ratings, when operating below minus 20°C, or when you need to minimise roof panel thickness for structural reasons. PIR provides better thermal stability through extreme temperature cycling, which matters more on roofs than on walls because of direct sun exposure.

PUF roof panels are our highest volume roofing product. Standard lead time is 2 to 3 weeks from confirmed order. Custom RAL colours may add 1 week. Contact our team for urgent requirements.

We deliver pan-India from Derabassi and can provide experienced roofing installation teams on request. Roof panel installation requires specific expertise in sealing, flashing, and ridge detailing that our trained crews handle daily. Handover includes waterproofing warranties and installation documentation.
