STEEL STRUCTURES BUILT RIGHT

Factory-fabricated steel portal frame buildings, cut, punched, and drilled to millimetre-accurate drawings at our Derabassi facility. No site welding. No guesswork. Every bolt hole lines up because the tolerance was controlled long before the steel left the shop floor.

◈

Up to 90m Clear Span

No interior columns. Full flexibility for warehouse racking, production lines, or hangar operations.

◇

40% Faster to Build

Factory fabrication runs parallel to your site foundation work. Structures are weathertight in weeks, not months.

◎

IS:800 Compliant

Every structure engineered to Indian structural design standards, with full calculations for statutory approval.

◻

Erected By Our Own Crews

No subcontracted erection teams. The people who bolt your building together work for ACE.

The Real Difference

Nothing Gets Cut or Welded On Site

This is the detail most buyers do not ask about until something goes wrong on a competitor’s site. Every column, rafter, purlin, and brace leaves our Derabassi facility already cut to length, punched with bolt holes, and shop-welded where welding is actually appropriate, inside a controlled environment with a qualified welder and proper inspection. Your erection crew arrives with a torque wrench, not a welding rig. That single decision removes the single biggest source of quality variation in structural steel construction.

Shop Fabrication

Every member cut, punched, and drilled to shop drawings under factory conditions, not field conditions.

Bolted Site Connections

Nut and bolt assembly on site. Fast, inspectable, and does not depend on weather or an individual welder's skill that day.

Pre-Drilled Base Plates

Anchor bolt layouts matched exactly to your foundation drawings before steel is even cut.

Quality Control Before Dispatch

Every fabricated piece inspected against shop drawings before it leaves Derabassi, not discovered wrong on site.

Understanding the Terms

How a PEB Is Actually Measured

BUILDING WIDTH EAVE HEIGHT BAY BAY BAY ROOF SLOPE

Building Width

Outer face to outer face of the eave struts on opposite side walls. This is your usable floor span.

Eave Height

Ground level to the top of the side wall, where the roof slope begins. Sets your usable clear height inside.

Bay Spacing

Distance between two adjacent interior frame columns. Standard bays run 6 to 9 metres depending on load.

Roof Slope

Typically 1:10 to 1:20 for drainage. Steeper slopes for heavy rainfall regions, flatter for standard industrial use.

Two Ways to Build

Choose Your Specification Level

ACE Standard

Standard Build

The efficient specification for industrial buildings where the job is to house operations reliably and cost-effectively. Everything you need, nothing you do not.

ACE Prime

Prime Build

Enhanced specification for buildings where corrosion exposure, appearance, or long-term durability carry more weight in the decision.

How It Comes Together

Anatomy of a PEB Structure

01

Primary Frame

Tapered built-up steel columns and rafters forming the main portal frame. Engineered for your specific span, bay spacing, and load requirements.

02

Secondary Frame

Cold-formed Z and C purlins and girts that support the roofing and wall cladding, bolted for fast site assembly.

03

Roofing & Cladding

PIR, PUF, or Rockwool sandwich panels, or single-skin profiled sheeting depending on thermal requirements.

04

Bracing Systems

Cross bracing and wind girts providing lateral stability against wind and seismic loads.

05

Base Plates & Anchors

Precision-machined base plates matched exactly to your foundation drawings before steel is even cut.

06

Accessories & Trims

Gutters, downpipes, ridge caps, flashing, and ventilation louvres engineered as part of the complete package.

Built to Last

Anti-Corrosion Process

Steel fails from corrosion, not from load, in almost every case where a structure disappoints its owner years down the line. We treat surface preparation as seriously as the structural design itself. Every primary member goes through a controlled surface preparation and coating sequence before it ever reaches site, so the protection is built in, not added as an afterthought.

01

Shot Blast Cleaning

Steel surface cleaned to a controlled blast standard, removing mill scale and rust before any coating touches the metal.

02

Epoxy Primer

Corrosion-inhibiting primer applied immediately after blasting while the surface profile is still fresh and receptive.

03

Finish Coat
Top coat applied per project specification, standard enamel for typical industrial use or enhanced systems for coastal exposure.

04

Pre-Galvanised Secondary Steel

Purlins, girts, and eave struts supplied pre-galvanised at 275 gsm as standard, protected before fabrication even begins.

Where It Goes

Applications

Warehouses & Logistics Hubs

Large-span distribution centres with clear floor space for racking and material handling equipment.

Manufacturing Plants

Factory floors designed around production line layout and overhead crane requirements.

Defence Facilities

Ministry-approved construction for sensitive installations requiring rapid, reliable delivery.

Aviation Hangars

Extreme clear-span requirements for aircraft maintenance and storage facilities.

Questions

Before You Commit

What project managers, architects, and facility owners ask before choosing a PEB structure.

How long does a PEB structure take to erect on site?

A typical warehouse of 5,000 to 10,000 square metres takes 6 to 10 weeks from foundation completion to a weathertight structure, depending on span, bay spacing, and site access. That is roughly 40 percent faster than conventional RCC construction for the same building size. Fabrication at our Derabassi facility runs in parallel with your site foundation work, so total project time is shorter still.

Our standard portal frame system delivers clear spans up to 90 metres with no interior columns. This covers the overwhelming majority of warehouse, factory, and aviation hangar requirements. For wider spans, we design custom truss configurations. Send us your floor plan requirements and we confirm the achievable span for your project.

Yes. Every structure is designed to IS:800 for general steel construction and IS:875 for wind and seismic loading specific to your project location. Our structural engineering team prepares full calculations, drawings, and certification for statutory approval before fabrication begins.

It means every steel member arrives pre-drilled and pre-punched, ready for bolted connection. Your erection crew is not welding joints in open air, exposed to weather and dependent on the skill of whoever is holding the torch that day. Bolted connections are faster to install, easier to inspect, and do not carry the quality risk that field welding does.

ACE Standard is engineered for cost-efficient industrial buildings where the primary requirement is a durable, code-compliant structure. ACE Prime adds heavier gauge secondary members, enhanced corrosion protection, and architectural finishing options like curved eaves and concealed fastener roofing for buildings where appearance and longevity both matter, such as corporate facilities or buildings in coastal and high-corrosion environments.

PEB structures typically cost 20 to 30 percent less than conventional RCC construction for large-span industrial buildings, mainly due to reduced construction time, lighter foundation requirements, and factory-controlled fabrication that eliminates on-site rework. Compared to conventional structural steel, PEB systems are usually comparable or slightly lower in material cost with a significant time advantage.
