INDUSTRIAL SHEDS RIGHT SIZED

Not every building needs a warehouse specification. A workshop, a storage bay, a light assembly area, these need shelter and structure at the lowest sensible cost, built fast enough that you are operating before the quarter ends. That is what a shed from ACE is engineered to deliver.

◈

Right-Sized Structure

No premium specification you do not need. Engineered exactly for the load and span your operation requires.

◇

Fastest to Occupy

A lighter frame with simpler design decisions means fewer weeks between order and operation.

◎

Built to Expand

Add bays to either end later without touching the standing structure, if the foundation was planned for it.

◈

Same Fabrication Standard

Zero site welding and IS:800 compliance apply to a shed exactly as they do to our largest warehouse.

The Honest Comparison

Shed or Warehouse?

We would rather quote you the right structure than the more expensive one. If your operation needs racking density, overhead cranes, or a long-term distribution footprint, a warehouse specification earns its cost. If you need covered storage, a workshop bay, or light assembly space without those demands, a shed gets you there faster and for meaningfully less. Tell us what you are actually doing inside the building and we will recommend honestly.

Choose a Shed

Storage, workshops, light assembly, agricultural use, or any application without crane or heavy racking loads.

Choose a Warehouse

Distribution centres, high-bay racking, overhead cranes, or long-term logistics operations.

Cost Difference

Sheds typically cost 20 to 35 percent less per square metre than a full warehouse specification.

Build Speed

Sheds are usually ready 2 to 4 weeks faster than an equivalent-area warehouse.

Who We Build For

Sheds Across Every Use Case

Storage & Warehousing

Straightforward covered storage for equipment, materials, or finished goods.

Workshops & Light Assembly

Fabrication bays and light assembly operations that need shelter, not a distribution centre.

Agricultural & Farm Use

Equipment storage and produce handling structures for agricultural operations.

Vehicle & Fleet Storage

Covered parking and maintenance bays for commercial vehicle fleets.

Questions

Before You Commit

What buyers ask before choosing a shed over a full warehouse specification.

A shed is the lighter, faster, more cost-efficient version of the same portal frame technology. Where a warehouse is engineered for racking density, crane loads, and long-term distribution operations, a shed is sized for straightforward storage, workshop space, or light manufacturing at the lowest practical cost per square metre.

A standard shed of 500 to 2,000 square metres is typically weathertight in 3 to 5 weeks from foundation completion, faster than a full warehouse because the frame is lighter and the design decisions are simpler.

Yes, and this is one of the practical advantages of the bolted portal frame system. Additional bays can be added to one end of an existing shed without disrupting the standing structure, provided the foundation and site layout were planned with that expansion in mind from the start.

Yes. Every shed structure, regardless of size, is engineered to IS:800 and IS:875 for your specific location and load requirements. Smaller does not mean less compliant.

Single-skin profiled steel sheeting is the standard, most cost-effective option for sheds used for dry storage or workshop space. If your shed will hold temperature-sensitive goods or needs sound control, PUF or Rockwool panels are available at the appropriate additional cost.
